Job Role:
· Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our open banking payments offerings, aligning it with the company's overall goals and vision.
· Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competition, and customer needs within the open banking and payments space to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features.
· Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch, working closely with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure successful product releases.
· User Experience (UX): Champion a user-centered approach, ensuring that the product meets the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.
· Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of relevant financial regulations and ensure that the product complies with all necessary requirements.
· Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of the open banking payments products, using data-driven insights to drive improvements and optimizations.
· Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer support, and other departments to drive product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
· Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product strategy, updates, and performance to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
· Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and technical specifications.
Job Requirements:
· Track record of designing and delivering innovative payments products either in Fintech
· Deeply knowledgeable of open banking concepts, APIs & payments
· Experience leading a go to market product delivery
· Experience with strategies for acquiring customers, driving engagement and product usage
· Experience in setting and monitoring appropriate software KPIs by product line
· Experience across the product life cycle including Product approvals, launch and rollout, Product change, margin and pricing reviews, Product review
· Experience in the design process, user research and user feedback to iterate on product, experience, and own decision making
· Knowledgeable of modern product discovery methodologies
· Innovative and commercially minded, passionate about creating products that reinvent or disrupt the industry
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Naturally cross-functional in approach, acting as SME support to Commercial, Ops, Technology, Compliance & Risk and Finance.
· Experience with local and remote/distributed teams
