Senior Manager - Corporate Strategy (Programme Delivery)

Job Description:

Job Role:

  • Investment and Partnership Solutions: This role involves structuring and driving optimal solutions for investments, partnerships, and ROI delivery. This includes developing investment models, structuring partnerships (both regional and global), and creating business cases for various projects and programs.
  • Business Plans and Feasibility Studies: The role requires the elaboration of business plans and feasibility studies for new ventures, such as entering new markets, expanding products/services, or considering spin-offs and acquisitions. It also involves proposing implementation plans through potential partnerships.
  • Project Prioritization: The role is responsible for identifying and prioritizing special and standard projects across the company, both in business development and corporate strategic projects.
  • Analytical Frameworks: Independently developing decision-making frameworks for project analyses, conducting benchmarking, business case development, and feasibility studies, and engaging relevant stakeholders for these tasks.
  • Presentation and Reporting: Preparing presentation documents for management, including the CEO and Board, and tracking and reporting on project progress in various forums.
  • Recommendations and Guidance: Providing recommendations and guidance to management on how to proceed with various projects.
  • Core Initiatives: Contributing to the delivery of initiatives that align with the organization's overall strategy, collaborating with Business Units, and managing functional heads to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Corporate Development: Involvement in ongoing corporate development activities, both organic and inorganic, to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Leading strategic projects aimed at stakeholder engagement at the government level.
  • Strategic Analysis: Taking ownership of key components of company-wide strategic analyses, validating Business Unit feasibility studies/business cases, and generating intellectual property (analytics and research) for the organization.
  • Market Insights: Monitoring and developing insights on competitive landscape trends, understanding key growth drivers, and evaluating the positioning of products/services in various market segments.
  • Performance Improvement: Building frameworks to evaluate the current state of business, financials, service, and operations, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and presenting recommendations aligned with the strategic vision to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Growth Agenda: Enabling the development of a 3-year growth agenda for the Group by leading the delivery of strategic initiatives and consolidating cash flow and growth projections for the business.
  • Operations Management: Driving the formation and implementation of select projects from idea to operational kickoff, managing projects effectively within budget, and actively monitoring and reporting on project deliverables
  • Governance and Process Management: Ensure effective project management within corporate processes and compliance with regulations, while optimizing efficiency through innovative approaches and thorough documentation.
  • Organizational Management: Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive alignment on strategic initiatives, manage expectations, and support the successful execution of projects and operating plans.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in C-level advisory roles or strategic management consulting including experience in managing and fostering with alignment cross-functional executive management teams/ or departments within a large organisation - Tier 1 consultancy
  • Advanced familiarity with development of financial business cases, including funding structures is desired
  • Profiles with prior work-experience in Global Management Consulting firms; Corporate Centre/HQ Strategy Units in MNCs; Private Equity firms/ Turn Around management firms
  • Experience in Events/Hospitality industry is preferred
