Senior Director Organization Development and Reward

Job Description:

Role Accountabilities:

·         Develop the overall OD strategy in alignment with both HR and business strategy and in relation to values, and desired behaviours, and cascade to local HR teams and key stakeholders

·         Lead strategic workforce planning effort across the Group to define an organization structure that maps well to the current, and future requirements of the organization and creates the highest business value for Company.

·         Define workforce sizing and workforce composition (FTEs, FTCs, Consultants, Contractors, Freelance hires, Remote hires, etc.) across the Group in conjunction with GCHRO and OPCO HRs.

·         Accountable for overall workforce/staff cost budget across Group and closely work with GCHRO, OpCo CHROs and teams to drive efficiencies.

·         Define skills & capabilities required for the future in line with the business strategy and propose strategies to inculcate new capabilities across the Group in close collaboration with Talent Development and OPCO HR teams.

·         Ensure the proposal and implementation, in conjunction with HRBPs and line managers, of scenarios on the leadership level-structure of the organization, including job grades and titles, workforce sizing, job responsibilities, KPIs, etc.

·         Value Assurance: Ensure the alignment of all functions and OpCos to the global organizational model by providing common language and rules across the entire organization (e.g., provide organizational manuals, process maps, authority matrices).

·         Lead the overall performance management process and approach, cascade to the group and manage the performance at group level with relevant teams.

·         Performance Management System – strategic direction / fair process – identifying high and low performers / clear linkage from reward to the individual and organization by developing a link to the Balanced Score Card /KPI’s for the organization.

·         Drive a PMS process which clearly supports performance improvement – by positioning the organizations PMS policies and procedures as a Performance Driven Organization.

·         Lead local implementation/adaptation of reward policies in alignment with the global reward framework and guidelines.

·         Support local leaders, in conjunction with HRBPs, to brainstorm and make decisions about the OpCo implementation of global reward policies as well as on specific cases. Lead relationships with local partner to for reward system.

·         Make sure the global processes, policies and procedures are properly applied in the local organization. Problem solve and address issues raised by the local teams.

·         Provide center of excellence advise to OpCos for all Reward related needs or questions.

·         Establish and embed Job Evaluation & Grading system and methodology which will ensure there is in place a process that provides a sound structure on which to base pay decisions and direct its effective dissemination across HQ and provide guidance and coaching to the operating companies in its implementation (or in implementing their own structures) as required.

·         Establish a centre of excellence for all matters related to Compensation & Benefits within Group HR in order to provide guidance and coaching to all OpCo’s in developing their own or implementing Group strategies and initiatives. 

·         Support OpCo’s in creating and managing performance pay, sales incentives, short term incentives and LTI wherever applicable

Experience & Qualifications

·         Bachelor's Degree

·         Minimum 15 year work experience

·         Experience of designing and executing end-to-end organization development / design and reward structure design programs

·         Experience of managing internal and external senior stakeholders

·         Solid experience in leading and communicating change in an international scope

·         Proven project management experience in a complex environment

·         High-level of collaboration skills, interpersonal skills and ability to navigate the way

·         Highly results and performance orientation

·         Ability to coach and mentor other HR professionals

·         Understanding of telecommunication industry

·         Have business understanding and people passion. Understanding cultural dynamics in Company markets is a plus.
